Busy, busy

Well since my last post a lot has gone on here...or so it seems:) Super Why's walls were never finished. We decided that the detailing was too much to do in a short time...so on to plan B. This plan entails painting his walls solid colors and then sticking up monster truck decals! Way easier...pics as soon as it's done.

Last weekend we finally made it to Disney World. The kids had a great time! The park was packed with people. Probably more than some fire code allows. We were able to get in quite a few rides, parades and fireworks! Polly met the Princesses for the first time and it was absolutely priceless to watch. My sister and her daughter jumped the track at the racetrack and caused quite a traffic jam! So all in all it was a successful trip to The Happiest Place on Earth...

The weather has turned from winter to almost summer-like recently. So what do we Floridians do? Head to the beach of course! Now mind you the water was still a little chilly but we had a blast anyways! My mom and I watched the kids run in and out of the water and helped them build castles and blow bubbles. This is the life!

We also celebrated my hubby's 29th birthday on the 24th! Boy he's getting old! Oh wait! I'm older than he is...he let's me know regularly:)

I also started playing in an adult soccer league...definitely feeling the age here! Pics to come soon! My first game is on the 6th!

Getting old stinks!

That's right, getting old stinks! I signed up for an over 30 women's soccer league and we started practicing this week.  We had two practices and I tell you what I can't move today without something hurting! I have been active and running and what not but I have not been sprinting after a ball and having contact with others in a long time!!! Although my body hurts I have had a great time and am so glad to be back in the game. I look forward to our upcoming practices and games! Our team name is The Storm...not just storm, but The Storm! And I believe that we will be a storm to contend with! I have amazing talented teammates who are already working well with each other after only 2 practices! Exciting things will come from all of this!

This weekend I am going to try and finish painting Super Why's room. His Aunt and I have traced monster trucks and motorcycles on his walls and now they need to be painted! Thankfully my amazing mom will be taking the kids this evening for the night so I can work without having to fear paint being spilled all over by the kids.

Here are some photos of Super Why on his bike without training wheels:)

Hopefully I will have the after photos of his room to post on Monday! Have a great weekend!

Monster Jam

Yesterday we went to Monster Jam with my sister and her two boys. It was wet and chilly but we had a blast getting there and watching the show. The trucks had a hard time getting traction so there wasn't a whole lot of action for any one truck. Maximum Destruction was the freestyle winner while Gravedigger won the races. Super Why thought the whole thing was amazing and as I tucked him into bed he told me that the dog truck was his favorite:)

This afternoon Super Why learned to ride his bike without training wheels! I went to the grocery store and was gone for about 35 min and by the time I was back he was a pro! Almost:) I am so proud of my big boy! Thanks Daddy for teaching him!

Redneck Fun

This evening we went over to Chris' parents house and had a little fun. For Christmas I had gotten all of the boys a clay thrower. So that's what we did. I didn't do too bad considering I haven't shot a gun in a long time. Not only was what we did entertaining but how Chris rigged the thrower up was priceless. A little bit of "Jernuity" he would say. He bolted the thrower onto the front of our four-wheeler, now it's portable:)

The kids had a great time too. There was mud. And rocks. And a pond. Enough said!

Tomorrow we are headed to Monster Jam. The kids don't know and I can't wait to see their faces when we get there!
